Spray-applied rapid-setting rubber asphalt waterproof coating is a high-elasticity waterproof, anti-corrosive, impermeable, and protective coating film produced by mixing ultra-fine, suspended, microemulsion-type anionic modified emulsified asphalt and synthetic high molecular polymer (Component A) with a special film former (Component B) using a special process. It instantly forms a dense, continuous, and complete waterproof rubber film with high elongation, strong elasticity, and excellent durability through spraying with dedicated on-site equipment, achieving a new type of environmentally friendly waterproof coating with a "skin-like" rubber waterproof layer.

In brief, the main components of the sprayed rapid-setting rubber asphalt waterproofing material consist of two or more high-performance modified emulsified rubber asphalts and a chemical coagulant catalyst, forming a two-component system characterized by rapid initial setting and solidification.

1. Utilizing spraying technology, it boasts high efficiency, achieves seamless connections, and prevents water leakage. It excels in handling irregular structures or objects with complex shapes, making the construction process exceptionally straightforward and convenient. With an elongation capability exceeding 1000% of its original length and a recovery rate of over 90%, it effectively addresses issues such as stress deformation, expansion cracking, and punctures in various structures

Coating: It achieves seamless connection between the coating and the base layer, thus realizing the characteristics of waterproofing and non-peeling that are difficult to achieve with coiled materials. It is particularly suitable for irregular structures or complex shapes, making base layer construction simpler and more reliable. It can form a "skin-type" waterproof layer. It has strong adaptability to base layers and can be used on base materials such as reinforced concrete, profiled steel sheets, plastics, and various masonry materials;


3. Good temperature resistance: The low temperature flexibility can reach -40℃, making it suitable for waterproofing projects in extremely cold regions. Its high temperature resistance can reach 160℃, making it suitable for waterproofing projects on roads and bridges. The spraying surface treatment is simple, and if there are no special requirements, a leveling layer can be omitted. Construction can be directly carried out when the humidity is below 80%;


During the construction process, it can operate continuously, does not contain volatile organic compounds, is non-toxic and odorless, produces no exhaust emissions, does not pollute the environment, and can be used in enclosed spaces;

Both high and low temperature resistance are excellent. This is similar to polyurea, but compared to polyurea, it may not have as high strength, but it has very good flexibility.


12. It can be applied on wet surfaces because it contains water itself, so it can be applied on wet substrates. This is similar to polyurea, which sets quickly in a few seconds or ten seconds, so the substrate permeability is not particularly good. Therefore, we have a requirement that the bonding strength with the substrate is not as high as that of polyurethane, which is generally around 0.5 MPa. Steps/Procedures


The two-component (spray-on type) system consists of component A (liquid material) and component B (liquid material), which are sprayed using a dedicated spray-on rapid setting equipment according to preset proportions and pressures, solidifying and forming a film within 3-5 seconds. It is suitable for concealed tunnel vaults and other areas where application is not convenient, as well as for large-area waterproofing construction.


Before conducting large-area spraying, it is necessary to wait until all additional layers have formed a film. First, check the integrity of the spraying machine, whether the spray gun of the spraying machine is clean, and inspect the raw material transmission tube, filter screen, and valve. Check whether the spraying machine can work normally. Spraying operations should be carried out in zones and proper blocking work should be done in advance. Adjust the distance and angle between the nozzle and the substrate, as well as the pressure of the spraying equipment, to achieve a uniform thickness of the sprayed material surface without exposure of the substrate and with good adhesion.
