Product Introduction
Non-curable rubber modified asphalt coating for waterproofing is a new type of waterproof material primarily composed of rubber and asphalt, mixed with additives to form a viscous paste-like substance that remains viscous and pasty in its application state and exhibits creep resistance. This coating can seal cracks and pores in the base layer, adapting to complex construction work surfaces. After coming into contact with air, it does not cure for a long time, maintaining its viscous and colloidal characteristics. It has strong self-healing ability, adheres immediately upon contact, is difficult to peel off, and maintains good bonding performance even at -20°C. It can solve problems such as waterproof layer fracture, flexural fatigue, or premature aging under high stress conditions caused by stress transfer from base layer cracks to the waterproof layer. At the same time, the viscous nature of the creep-resistant material enables it to effectively seal pores and cracks in the base layer, solving the problem of water leakage through the waterproof layer and greatly improving waterproof reliability. It can also solve the compatibility issue when existing waterproofing membranes and waterproof coatings are used in combination. It has outstanding effects on waterproofing special parts such as deformation joints in building construction and is widely used in non-exposed building waterproofing projects. On February 11, 2014, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology announced the draft for approval of the industry standard JC/T 2216-201X for Non-curable Rubber Modified Asphalt Coating for Waterproofing, which will be officially released within 2014.

Alternative name: Rubberized asphalt non-curing waterproof coating
Water solubility: insoluble
Appearance: Black viscous paste

Key Features
1. Non-curing: With a solid content of over 98%, it contains no solvents or volatiles and maintains its original elastoplastic state throughout its use.
2. Excellent adaptability to the base layer: It exhibits strong adaptability to both dry and wet base layers, as well as those with cracks or significant deformations. It can fully adhere to the base layer while effectively penetrating and sealing minor cracks, accommodating deformations without solidifying;
3. High adhesiveness: It maintains its adhesiveness over a long period of time, seamlessly bonding with the base layer to form a unified whole, providing superior waterproofing effect. It can be applied on damp base surfaces and used for leak repair, maintaining good adhesion with any foreign objects.
4. Strong self-healing ability: Even if the waterproof layer is damaged during construction and use, it can repair itself, preventing water from flowing between the waterproof layer and the base layer, maintaining the continuity of the waterproof layer. During construction, the materials will not separate, forming a stable, seamless and integrated waterproof layer.
5. Easy and efficient construction: The technical requirements for operators are not high, making it a "fool-proof" method. Various construction methods such as mechanical spraying or manual scraping can be used, resulting in high efficiency and shortened construction period.
6. It can be used in combination with other waterproof materials to form a composite waterproof layer, thereby enhancing the waterproofing effect.
7. Excellent water repellency: Water repellency refers to the property of a material that prevents it from being wetted by water when in contact with it. The non-cured rubber asphalt waterproof coating produced by our company exhibits excellent water repellency and maintains its superior performance even in a long-term water-immersed environment.
8. Used in underground or non-exposed projects, it exhibits excellent corrosion resistance and anti-aging properties.
9. Resistant to high and low temperatures, with good extensibility.

Scope of applicationThe non-cured rubber asphalt waterproof coating can be used for both newly constructing waterproof layers and repairing damaged waterproof layers. It can be applied to waterproofing in conventional areas as well as in special areas such as deformation joints. Compared to other waterproofing materials, it has unique advantages in waterproofing special areas. Due to its self-sealing ability, it can repair damaged parts of the waterproof layer on its own. The rubberized asphalt non-cured waterproof coating around the damaged area will automatically flow and fill the damaged area, blocking water leakage and seepage between the waterproof layer and the concrete base surface.
1. Waterproofing works for roofs and side walls of industrial and civil buildings;
2. Waterproofing works for planted roofs;
3. Waterproofing projects for underground structures, subway stations, tunnels, etc;
4. Waterproofing projects for roads, bridges, railways, etc;
5. Waterproofing projects such as dams and water conservancy facilities;
6. Grouting and sealing various gaps such as deformation joints and settlement joints.

construction technology
1. Basic requirements
The base surface of the structural layer should be flat, solid, and free from dusting, peeling, cement laitance, and visible water. If there are any defects, the base layer should be treated. To better improve the bonding effect between the coating and the base layer, it is recommended to use an oily base layer treatment agent. After the base layer treatment agent dries, coating construction can be carried out.
Before conducting large-scale spray painting, it is necessary to first apply a scratch coat to strengthen specific areas such as detail nodes, in accordance with relevant specifications and design requirements.
2. Preparation for spray painting
Before spraying large-area non-cured rubber asphalt waterproof coating, the equipment should be debugged. When the equipment is in a spraying state, large-area spraying construction can be carried out.
CPE waterproofing membrane construction process
Construction method
Non-cured rubber asphalt waterproof coating has two construction methods: spraying and scraping. The construction method should be reasonably selected according to the actual situation of the construction site. Before construction, the integrity of the special spraying equipment should be checked, including whether the spray gun is clean, as well as the raw material transmission pipeline, filter screen, and valve. It is also necessary to test whether the spraying machine can work normally.
Detail treatment: For details such as internal and external corners, corners between planes and facades, etc., apply a brush coat first, with a thickness of 2mm. Cut the coiled material into the corresponding shape and attach it. After completing the additional layer, proceed with construction to ensure that the overall coating maintains a consistent thickness.

Large-area spray painting construction
(1) After the base surface is cleaned, open the heating material tank and pour the preheated and de-barreled material into the tank for heating. When the overall temperature of the coating reaches a sprayable state (120°C), use a dedicated spraying device to evenly spray the non-curing rubber asphalt waterproof coating. During spraying, different spray guns can be adjusted according to the design thickness, and the waterproof layer is formed in one go, with the thickness according to the design requirements.
(2) After spraying a certain area, use the needle measurement method to detect the coating thickness before laying the coiled material. If the thickness is not up to standard or needs to be strengthened locally, manual scraping can be used for supplementation. Spraying construction should be completed in sections and areas.
(3) After spraying, promptly cover the waterproofing membrane to prevent excessive dust on site from adhering to the surface of the coating, which could reduce the adhesion between the coating and the waterproofing membrane. The overlap width of the membrane is 100mm, and the overlap area is treated with cold bonding. Apply PBC-328 non-cured rubber asphalt waterproof coating to the overlap width of the membrane, and press the overlapped membrane with a roller. Once the waterproofing membrane is laid, people can walk on it, and the construction is complete.

Precautions
(1) The optimal temperature for construction is between -10℃ and 35℃. Waterproof construction is challenging on rainy or snowy days, or when the wind is above level 5.
(2) The corners between the plane and the vertical surface of internal and external corners should be rounded into an arc, with a radius of preferably 50mm.
(3) No smoking or open flames are allowed on the construction site, and good ventilation must be maintained.
transportation and storage
(1) Non-cured rubber asphalt is sealed and packaged in iron drums, and stored away from sources of ignition;
(2) During transportation, strict precautions should be taken to prevent exposure to rain and collisions, and the packaging should be kept intact.
