  The polymer modified asphalt waterproof coating for roads and bridges is a new type of environmentally friendly waterproof coating, formulated using petroleum asphalt as the base material and a variety of high molecular polymers as composite modifiers. This coating exhibits excellent heat resistance, adhesion, and shear resistance, while also having good affinity with petroleum asphalt products. It can fully meet the special requirements for waterproofing of asphalt concrete bridge decks, providing durable and reliable waterproof performance. It is a dedicated coating for waterproof construction of various bridges and viaduct decks.

Water-based products do not contain toxic or harmful volatile substances and do not pollute the environment.

 It has good heat resistance, withstanding temperatures up to 160℃-180℃.

 It is elastic and has good extensibility, capable of meeting the structural deformation requirements under dynamic loads.  

 It has high bonding strength and good shear resistance, and can effectively transmit horizontal traffic loads.

 Liquid cold construction, with no joints in the waterproof layer.

Base layer surface treatment: The base layer should be firm and solid, with a smooth, dry surface, free from dusting, laitance, and obvious water stains. Internal and external corners should be rounded into arcs. For defective base layers, BPE-203 epoxy resin base layer treatment agent can be applied. Before coating application, remove debris, dust, and oil stains.

Construction of coating waterproof layer: Brushing, rolling, or spraying can be used. It should be applied in layers and multiple coats, preferably completed in 3-4 coats. The subsequent coat should be applied after the previous coat has cured and formed a film, and in a direction perpendicular to the previous coat. The general interval is 4h-7h (depending on the temperature). For a coating thickness of 1.0mm, the total amount of paint used is (2.2-2.6)kg/㎡

 Before the final set of the bridge deck concrete, it is more effective to perform a regular and uniform texturing treatment on the concrete surface.

 The waterproof layer construction can only proceed when the concrete strength of the bridge deck slab reaches at least 70% of the design strength.

 The waterproofing of bridge deck expansion joints, anti-collision wall expansion joints, and bridge deck drainage outlets shall be separately treated according to the waterproof design of the bridge structure.

 The construction temperature should be between 5°C and 35°C. Construction shall not be carried out when the temperature is below 5°C or on rainy days (including when it is expected to rain within 6 hours after construction).  

 The waterproof layer has not been fully dried, so no one is allowed to walk or drive vehicles on it to prevent sharp objects from scratching the waterproof layer.

The product is packaged in clean, dry, and sealed plastic drums or iron drums lined with plastic bags, with capacities of 25kg/drum, 50kg/drum, and 200kg/drum.

 The product is made of non-flammable and non-explosive materials and can be transported as general cargo. During transportation, it should be protected from freezing, rain, exposure to sunlight, squeezing, and collision, and the packaging should be kept intact.

 When storing the product, ensure it is kept in a ventilated and dry environment, protected from direct sunlight, and stored at a temperature not lower than 0°C. The storage period is one year.
